Redbridge Play Strategy

Lottery funded
The Play Strategy (PDF 1817kb) outlines a borough-wide approach to the provision of good quality, inclusive, accessible and sustainable children's play facilities and services. The strategy is based on comprehensive research and has been developed in conjunction with children and young people. In December 2007 Redbridge secured just under £600,000 of BIG Lottery funding for six individual play projects.  All the projects are linked to Play Strategy priorities.

DCSF Playbuilder Project Plan

Department for children, schools and familiesThe strength of the Play Strategy helped ensure Redbridge was awarded £1.1 additional funding for play from the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) in April 2008. Redbridge's DCSF Playbuilder Project Plan (PDF 783kb) outlines how Redbridge plans to transform play in Redbridge with the help of this additional funding.
