Hainault Forest Country Park covers more than 300 acres, with a fishing lake, zoo, adventure play areas, guided walks, bridleways and a nature trail.  Hainault Forest Country Park also has its own Visitor Centre for further information and interpretation.  Nature conservation is promoted here and a range of events and activities are offered throughout the year.  The Hainault Forest Events Programme 2009 (PDF 686 kb) and the Nature Conservation Events Programme (PDF 2629 kb) for April to August 2009 will shortly be available from your local library or by contacting the country park office.

Hainault Forest Country Park celebrated 100 years of being made into an 'open space' in 2006.  As well as winning the Green Flag Award for 2006/07. 

There are also two top-class golf courses next door at Hainault Forest Golf Course.

Please note - Angling is not available at Hainault Forest Country Park during the 2008/2009 season. For further information, please contact the country park.

Pay and Display car parking now applies at Hainault Forest Country Park during opening hours.

Charge fees are £1.00 for two hours and £2.00 all day.

We will be introducing Annual Season Tickets (PDF 59.5 Kb) as from 1 September 2007, £90.00 per year for Redbridge residents and £140.00 for non residents.
