FAQ for Redbridge Arts Council | Contact for Redbridge Arts Council

Redbridge Arts Council is the voluntary sector umbrella organisation for the arts in the London Borough of Redbridge.

The objectives of the Redbridge Arts Council are:

  • To foster and support the Arts and encourage and develop cultural activities, primarily for the benefit of residents of the London Borough of Redbridge.
  • To act as a co-ordinating body for its members and to provide the means of liaison between them, the London Borough of Redbridge and any other appropriate organisations.
  • To do all such things as may seem to the Arts Council to be conducive to the attainment of the above mentioned objects or any of them.

The Arts Council endeavours to achieve its objects in a number of ways:

  • by offering facilities for member groups to publicise their events within the Borough, where necessary providing computer time and photocopying facilities for posters, handbills etc.
  • by offering office space for committee meetings (limited numbers).
  • as a grant holding organisation, by awarding grants towards approved projects or events.
