Work experience at Redbridge CouncilWork experience placements in the borough are coordinated through the Redbridge Business Education Partnership (ReBEP).  ReBEP brings together all sections of the community in Redbridge to participate in education business link activities including work experience placements, they currently arrange in excess of 4000 work experience placements a year.

Work experience with Council

The Council’s objectives in providing work experience are as follows:

  • To contribute to the education of communities, providing information about public sector activities.
  • Communicate career opportunities and inspire individuals to learn more about working within Local Government.

The duration of a work experience placement will normally be for up to 2 weeks.

If you are still at school, all enquiries and applications for work experience placements must be made through your school or the Redbridge Business Education Partnership (ReBEP).  For those not at school and over 16 years, you may contact the (ReBEP) direct or the register an interest with the council's recruitment services.
