This service has recently transferred from Public Protection based at Perth Terrace, to the Housing Service based at 17/23 Clements Road.  The service is made up of 3 teams, 2 of which are based at Clements Road.

1. The Grants and Financial Assistance Team deal with the administration of grants assistance to privately owned or rented properties.  We currently offer grants to householders for certain aspects of repair work and for adaptations to their home if they are disabled.
   
2. The Housing Standards team deal with properties that are in disrepair and ensuring they meet the minimum standard for housing. If you are unable to get repairs done, even after speaking to your Landlord, we may be able to assist.  Similarly if you are experiencing problems with shared accommodation or require information about HMO licensing, please contact us.
   
3. The Home Improvement Agency are here to promote independent living for elderly, vulnerable and disabled people.  We can assist vulnerable homeowners with repairs to their property, including accessing any available financial assistance.  You can contact them direct at:
