Home Visits

If you cannot get to our offices in Ilford due to disability or ill health our welfare visiting team may be able to see you in your own home.

Our visiting officers can

  • Help you claim Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, and other Social Security benefits and credits including disability benefits and credits 
  • Make sure you are receiving the financial help you are entitled to
  • help you appeal against decisisons not to award benefits
