The Regeneration team support 'businessREDBRIDGE', a business networking partnership, which oversees Borough wide economic regeneration activities contained in the Council's Community Strategy. businessREDBRIDGE is a member of the Redbridge Strategic Partnership

businessREDBRIDGE focuses on:

  • fostering business, employment and skills partnerships
  • supporting local enterprise
  • improving the image of Redbridge
  • maximising people's potential.

Business networking

  • Support businessREDBRIDGE as a networking organisation to involve businesses in our regeneration work program strands (employment & training and development/town centres)
  • Support development of Redbridge Chamber of Commerce to increase its membership base and increase projects on social and environmental responsibility.

Business advice

  • we work in partnership with the Redbridge Chamber of Commerce and businessREDBRIDGE to develop "supply chain" business to business training and networks to help local businesses and contracts related to the 2012 Olympics and the East and North Growth Corridors
  • we support East London Small Business Centre to provide business advise to existing and start – up small businesses in Redbridge

Green business development

  • Promote the greening of businesses and "green business" development, primarily by improving the sign posting of businesses to support and advice, (e.g. The Carbon Trust)
