Regeneration - What does it mean?
"Regeneration" means different things to different people and
academics have many definitions for the term. In Redbridge
regeneration is regarded as an important means of making the
Borough a better place to live – the
Council's overall aim.
Physical and Economic Regeneration
In Redbridge we aim to deliver our regeneration aims through
physical and economic development. All regeneration projects and
programmes are "partnership schemes" requiring the
Regeneration team to work across the public, private and
voluntary sectors. We Focus on integrating services, funding
and project delivery and encouraging and developing
partnership agreements.
