The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires Planning
Authorities to produce Annual Monitoring Reports.
Annual Monitoring Reports, should in the main, relate to Local
Development Frameworks. However as the main Local Development
Framework Development Plan Documents were not
formally adopted until March and May 2008, the Annual
Monitoring Report also monitors the performance of the now
superseded Unitary Development Plan (amended March 2008).
