The Council has produced the Redbridge Environment Action Plan 2007-2017 (REAct) document (PDF 980KB), which draws together the Council's existing environmental plans, outlines the environmental strategy for the Council until 2017, and includes an Action Plan (updated annually) to implement the strategy. A summary leaflet has also been prepared.(PDF 39KB)

REAct incorporates the environmental sustainability National Indicators, and the Action Plan will be used as a major instrument to deliver the Council's environmental programme, working collaboratively with the Environment Partnership, Environment Management Team and all relevant service areas within the Council.

Cabinet adopted REAct at its meeting on 29 July 2008. For more information on the plan contact Nick Lawler (Environment Partnership Officer) on nick.lawler@redbridge.gov.uk or by phone on 020 8708 2257.
