FAQ for Energy Grants | Contact for Energy Grants

Redbridge Council is working in partnership with other organisations to promote energy efficiency in the home. We make it easy for you as homeowners and tenants of private landlords to make home energy efficiency improvements, saving you money and reducing the effects of climate change.

There are a number of grants available to help you reduce energy use. Please visit the sites below. They have different eligibility criteria, depending on your circumstances and housing tenure.

We are working in partnership with London Warm Zone to help you implement energy efficiency measures for your home insulation and heating. To find out more and book your free assessment call their free phone 0800 399 7286 or book on-line with them.

Making a property more energy efficient does not need to be an expensive business. Loft and wall cavity insulation are cost-effective home improvements that you can make without huge investment.  It will lower your energy usage and bills and limit the effect a property has on the environment. The Energy Saving Trust estimates that the average house could reduce heating costs by 15%.

On these pages you will find more information on what is currently available. Information on these pages will however, be updated on a regular basis. Contact your Energy Team at the Council for advice on which schemes are best suited to you.
