Recycling from home is easy, convenient and will
help make a big difference to the environment. A recycling service
is provided for each house in Redbridge (a separate service is
available for residents in flats).
All households receive a weekly multi-material collection
service.
How does the service work?
Its as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1. Please fill your box with the items listed below.
2. Put the box in front of and at the edge of your property
boundary by 7.00am on the collection day (clearly visible from
the road).
3. The box will be emptied and returned to you.
Please try to keep paper separate from other materials, either
at one end of the box, in a re-usable or carrier bag, or in a
separate recycling box. This is because paper is collected
separately in the recycling vehicle.
How do I get a recycling box?
You can order a recycling box, or extra boxes, by completing the
online form or by contacting the
Customer Contact Centre.

What day is my recycling collected?
Your recycling is collected weekly. Since 1 October 2007,
your recycling day is the same as your refuse collection
day.
Please contact the Customer Contact
Centre to find out the day of your collection, or use the
recycling and
refuse module located in the centre of the Redbridge i
homepage.
