Preventing Unauthorised Access by Traders
To assist the Council with preventing unauthorised traders
trying to deposit their waste at the site, Shanks East London have
installed a barrier which is 1.72 metres (5 feet 8
inches).
Residents with vehicles more than 1.72 metres in height will
have to bring identification to show that their waste is not
from a commercial source (e.g utility bill).
You may be required to allow staff on site to inspect the waste
you wish to deposit.
Trade Refuse can be taken to the Jenkins Lane site (also run by
Shanks East London) on the junction with the A406 and the A13.
Follow the slip road on to the eastbound carriageway of the A13 and
you will see a sign for Jenkins Lane before you leave the slip
road. For details of charges please contact Shanks East London on 0800 389 9918.
