About the School
Fullwood Primary School is a community primary day school,
admitting pupils from the age of 3 (nursery) until transfer to
secondary school at the age of 11. Approximate number of
pupils is 310 excluding nursery.
The school is set in pleasant, well-maintained grounds
surrounded by grass areas, shrubs and trees. The main
building was opened in 1974. The nursery added in 1989
provides places for 52 pupils attending part-time.
As a one and a half form of entry school, classes are vertically
grouped in Key Stages 1 and 2, with a subject specific topic based
curriculum integrated on a two year teaching cycle. Currently
the school is organised as follows:
