About the School

Downshall Primary School is a two form of entry school with about 480 pupils. Children usually start in a Nursery for half-day sessions and then continue in Reception classes at 4-5 years of age.

Downshall is a friendly school. Relationships are good with respect being expected from everybody and given to all.

Our Ofsted inspection commended the school for the high standard of teaching. The report noted that end of Key Stage achievements were improving and that standards were mostly in line with national standards across the curriculum.
