The Kumar Foundation hosts its first annual 5 a side Charity
Football Tournament
It will begin with a knock-out style 5 a side football match
where teams will battle to win the much anticipated Winners Shield
and Trophies.
The day will continue on into a Prize giving Ceremony to all
participants, runners-up and winners of the tournament, followed by
a buffet dinner provided by the Elmbridge Club.

Mayor's Charity Golf Day at Hainault Forest Golf
Course.
This event has SOLD OUT.

put on the waiting list.
Saturday 27 September
Charity BBQ, Hargreaves Scout Camp, Hainault Road, Little Heath,
Romford at 6pm
Tickets £10 per head includes all food but please bring your own
drink. Book tickets from the Mayor's office
Sunday 28 September
Charity Sponsored Walk, Valentines Park, Ilford, Essex, From 10
am
There is a £5 entry fee. The run will take place from 10 am - 11
am.
There are two events on the day:
- The first is the 'competitive run' organised by the Ilford
Athletic Club.
- This is 'the sponsored walk' which is open to all and will
start from 11 am - 2 pm. There is no charge for this.
Saturday 4 October
At the Sir James Hawkey Hall, Star Cabaret with The Drifters,
Junior Giscombe (Massive No 1 hit “Mama Used to Say”). Special
Guest appearances and four course meal, inclusive of wine, beer and
soft drinks. Evening will include an interim Weigh In for the
Sponsored Slimathon being undertaken by Cllrs Linda Huggett and
Mark Aaron. Your compere for the evening is Mad Mark
Peters.
- Tickets cost £65 (includes cabaret show, 4 course dinner and
drinks)
- 250 tickets available buy early to avoid disappointment

- Auction of Memorabilia and Raffle on night

Quiz night, Lambourne Room, Town Hall from 7 pm
Tickets £10 per person includes fish, chicken or veggie
burger and chips - bring your own drink
Tables of 8 maximum, book tickets from
the Mayor's office
Saturday 18 October
The World of Dance Festival celebrates dances from around the
world. During the evening there will be dance from many countries
as varied as China, Israel and Ireland.
As well as the dancers strutting their stuff, there will be an
auction and a raffle in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal.
Doors open at 6 pm and the start time is now 7 pm
Saturday 22 November and Saturday 13 December
Table top sales in aid of the Mayor's charity appeal. The sales
will be running from 10 am to 4 pm.
Tables cost £12 and can be set-up from 8.30 am.
