You can pay your Council Tax bill

  • in one instalment in April
  • in two instalments in April and September
  • or by ten monthly instalments

You can pay by:

Direct Debit

This is the easy way to pay and helps reduce the cost of collecting Council Tax.

If you want to pay by direct debit please fill in the direct debit form on your bill and send it to us. If you do not have a bill you can download a Council Tax direct debit form, complete your details and send it back to us so we can make the necessary arrangements with your bank or building society.

Credit/Debit card

Please phone our Credit/Debit Card Hotline and have ready your Council Tax reference number as well as the amount you need to pay.

In person

Call in at the Cashier's office.

Quote sort code 57-96-51 and a/c number 00000000. Please ensure that you quote your Council Tax Reference

Cash or cheque

You can pay in person at many high street banks or through giro bank, although a fee may be payable.
