Benefit Advice

We give advice on all types of welfare benefits including housing and council tax benefits, tax and pension credits. Please contact the Welfare Benefits and Money Advice Team

Home visits

We visit people with disabilities or have mobility problems to assist them with their claims for benefits. Our experienced advisers carry out a welfare benefit check to identify the benefits that you may be entitled to. Outreach

We give advice and information about welfare benefits to people whose first language is not English.

Outreach for Older people

We have an outreach officer, Sonya Deane, whose work is to promote and improve the take-up of all welfare benefits by residents who are 60 and over. Please contact Sonya Dean for more information.

Money (Debt) Advice

We offer advice on money management for people who are having financial difficulties, and negotiate on their behalf with their creditors. This is a free and confidential service. For more information please contact Elaine Morley

Concessionary Travel

We issue disabled person’s freedom passes.
