You will need to visit the Register Office when:
  • a baby has been born
  • or someone has died.
We also take notices of marriage and civil partnerships and ceremonies and these can also be registered in the Cranbrook Suite (part of Queen Victoria House) for up to 10 people or the
Valentines Suite, also part of Queen Victoria House, for up to 50 people.
 
We also:
  • register marriages and
  • civil partnerships in other premises around the Borough which are approved for the purpose.
