Sir James Hawkey HallThis hall in Broomhill Road, Woodford Green, was named in memory of Sir A. James Hawkey, JP (Baronet and First Charter Mayor of the Borough of Wanstead and Woodford).  It was opened by Sir Winston Churchill on 26th March 1955. For many years it has been a popular community resource for local people.

Situated a short distance from Woodford High Road in Woodford Green, it is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, barmitzvahs, stage events and community group bookings. The profile and layout of the hall's rooms, which includes a large stage and a car park, make this a very popular venue.
