Man of faith with clasped hands praying

The Redbridge Faith Forum was formed in 2003 following a faith conference set up by Redbridge Council, which brough faith leaders together to talk about their communities' needs.

It is an independent organisation with charitable status (no. 1118675) that is funded by Redbridge Council and the Faith Community Capacity Building Fund ( FCBF ).

Please view and download the Redbridge Faith Forum Directory of Worship.

The purpose of the Faith Forum is:

  • to bring together local members of different faith communities
  • to promote social harmony
  • to foster a community spirit in the area
  • to recognise the important contribution that religion and spirituality makes to the lives of Redbridge residents
  • to lobby relevant organisations that affect faith communities.

Some of the topics discussed at previous public forums include the role of faith communities in relation to:

  • health
  • regeneration
  • young people
  • fair trade
  • environmental protection
