Property Services provides both support and front line
services and between them our staff provide a full
range of property
related duties. These include:
- property advice on complex land and property deals
- the provision of safe and well maintained buildings
- a portering and security service
- a post service
- wide range of halls and meeting room
hire.
We have 85 staff working in our various buildings around
the borough, who provide two main functions of facilities and
estate management.

Care of administrative and public offices
including:
- porterage
- post
- security
- Co-ordination of the strategic development,
planning, monitoring and review of the Council's assets.
Estate
Management
- valuation, acquisition, management and
disposal of the Council's portfolio of land.
- property Services and the Finance
Service produce an integrated Corporate Asset Management Plan and
Capital Strategy for Redbridge Council.
The Corporate
Asset Management Plan and Capital Strategy 2007/08 Onwards is
the latest development in the recognition of the importance of our
property assets and capital resources in achieving customer
focussed service delivery and this document sets out how this will
be achieved.
Effective Asset and Capital Resources
Management supports the Infrastructure Stream of our Organisational
Change Programme through effective and efficient management of our
resources to achieve our overriding corporate Vision of making
Redbridge a better place to live and delivering our Key Aims.
