Any premises, including a private residence, where animals,
reptiles or fish are sold by way of a business can only do so if
they are licensed by the Council, however, shops selling pet food
only do not require a licence.
Animals can not be sold on market stalls or at boot sales.
Strict licence conditions and accomodation standards regarding cage
sizes, stock density etc. apply.
