Redbridge is
a diverse borough with many green
spaces, sports amenities, Cultural
Services and bustling urban centres offering good
shopping.
Though only seven miles from central London, it is closely
linked to open countryside and has parts of the ancient woodland of
Epping Forest within its boundaries. There are riverside trails,
countryside walks, nature conservation areas, a watersports lake,
two country parks and a number of other visitor
attractions.
There are abundant leisure facilities, not least the nine
formal parks and 16 recreation grounds - many of which provide
sports pitches and children's play areas.
