I had the pleasure of attending one of the heats of the Bollywood Dance Championships recently.
The event, hosted by Honey’s Dance Academy, aims to find the stars of tomorrow and culminates in the Grand Finale Bollywood Championships in July in front of an audience of 5,000.
Its objective is to promote upcoming talent and provide a platform to those wishing to take part in Bollywood Dance events, TV, Films, performing Arts and entertainment projects.

Congratulations to those who made it through to the next round of the competition.
Alongside me in the picture are the judges.

At the recent Council elections, no party got a majority. It seems clear that residents would expect us to work together.
Last night, Councillor Ian Bond, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, and I signed a partnership agreement for running Redbridge Council – coincidentally on the same day the new Government published its coalition agreement. Labour will also be involved by chairing our Scrutiny committees, which ensure Council services provide quality and value for money.

I am pleased we have been able to reach an agreement. Both the Conservative and Lib/Dem parties will continue to maintain their individual policies and principals, whilst working together in the best interests of Redbridge residents.
You can read the partnership agreement here and I would welcome comments on how you think the parties should work together.
