Help with the registration process

  • My details keep clearing
    For security reasons, certain fields will reset in the event of a registration error e.g. username already taken. Please fill these fields again before clicking ‘Continue’
  • My password is weak
    The password strength indicator follows the guidelines set by the London of Borough of Redbridge. To achieve a strong password please use at least six characters including lower and uppercase letters, a number and a special character e.g. ‘!’. An example of a strong password is ‘Banana1!’.
  • The Login / Username I want is already taken
    In order for the site to recognise users and personalise services for them we require every username and e-mail address to be unique. Please pick an alternative username. You might like to add a number to the end, such as a memorable year e.g. Peter becomes Peter2000.
  • I don’t have an e-mail address

    Redbridge i requires you to have an e-mail address so that we can contact you electronically. There are a number of free e-mail services available including:

  • My e-mail address is already being used
    We can only register one username against each e-mail address. If your e-mail address is already in use, it is likely that someone else has access to your account and has used it to register with Redbridge i (perhaps someone in your family). If you believe your e-mail address has been registered without your consent, please send us an e-mail to user.admin@redbridge.gov.uk explaining your problem. If you cannot access your e-mail account please contact your service provider directly.
  • I haven’t received an activation e-mail
    This is usually due to an incorrect e-mail address being supplied. Please contact us directly explaining the problem and we will do our best to sort out your problem as soon as possible. `
